Scott Crosby, CFP®

Scott began working at Bassett, Dawson & Foy Inc. in April 2017 on a part-time basis while an undergraduate student at the University of Delaware, Alfred I. Lerner College of Business & Economics. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning and Wealth Management, he joined the practice full time in July 2017.

Scott is originally from the Wilmington area, attending Concord High School (CHS) where he played 4 years of varsity soccer and was a varsity member and senior captain, of the CHS Swim team.

Scott is an active member of The Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP). He currently serves on the board of the SFSP, as the Young Professional/Director

Scott began his wealth management career with Merrill Lynch as a Global Wealth & Investment Management Intern, working with the Townsend-Warren Group in Dover, DE.

Scott became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant in 2019.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.

In his spare time, Scott enjoys traveling internationally, sports, music and spending time with family and friends throughout the world.
